What is it?
GTECHNIC products were created by a quantum physicist who used his understanding of how matter behaves at a nano-scale. This understanding led him to develop car care products so tough, they can provide industry-leading protection.
In 2004, GTECHNIC's research and development team created a car care range, designed to protect every surface of a vehicle, using the power of nanotechnology. GTECHNIC's products are extremely tough due to their volume-to-surface area ratio and are designed to provide a highly durable protective layer, which is also scratch resistant, both water and oil repellant, resistant to extremes of pH and also provides protection from industrial and environmental fallout.
In addition to the protection provided to treated surfaces, GTECHNIC’s paint protection systems offer incredible gloss, enhancing the clarity of the vehicle’s natural paint colour. Treated surfaces retain their ‘as new’ appearance for longer, helping to preserve both the aesthetics and the resale value.
The GTECHNIC range includes Crystal Serum, a paint protection system so tough the performance is guaranteed for five years when applied by an approved detailer. For the car care enthusiast, GTECHNIC offers a range of protective coatings including the new easy to use Crystal Serum Light and their original coating, C1 Crystal Lacquer. Also interior protection like L1 leather guard and I1 Smart fabric are used.

If having GTECHNIC exterior package only, the car will have just the exterior valet from the full valet package.
If having both GTECHNIC exterior and interior package, the car will be prepared with a full valet prior to GTECHNIC coating (excluding aqua wax, polish and dash dressing).
GTECHNIC Exterior Package Detail:

Paint surface preparation
GTECHNIC panel wipe is used to wipe free any polish, oil, wax or silicon residue that may still be on the paint work. For any sealant to form a chemical bond effectively it must have a perfectly clean surface
GTECHNIC Paintwork Protection
Crystal Serum is applied to paintwork which forms an ultra durable, high gloss, slick to the touch, chemically bonding ceramic layer, which is resistant to chemicals ranging from PH2-PH12. This characteristic also makes bonded contaminants such as tree sap, tar and hard water spots easy to remove. It also resists temperatures as low as -40C to as high as +250C.
GTECHNIC Wheel Protection
C5 Wheel Armour is applied to the wheels. Just like Crystal Serum it forms an extra durable coating which is stain and contaminant resistant, such as brake dust, making your rims very easy to keep clean.
GTECHNIC Glass Protection
G5 Water repellent is applied to all exterior glass including windscreen. The coated glass will stay cleaner for longer and any contaminants such as bugs will be easier to remove. G5 offers maximum water repellency meaning water will blow off the car screens at speeds as low as 30mph and on vertical glass water will roll off leaving a virtually spotless surface.
Gtechniq Interior Package Detail:
Interior is fully cleaned making sure there are no contaminants on upholstery and plastics.
GTECHNIC fabric Protection
I1 smart fabric or L1 leather Guard (either which is required) is applied to seats and carpet fabric. I1 Smart fabric is extra durable and protects against water and oil based stains making fabrics easy to clean. Being alcohol based ensures a much deeper penetration making I1 last 5 times longer than conventional water repellent coatings. L1 Leather Guard forms a durable abrasion resistant matte finish which offers the best ever protection against abrasion damage, UV rays, dye transfer and other discolouration. With added BioCote anti-microbial technology, treated surfaces will kill 99.9% of bacteria.
